Open and inspect your laptop. The LCD screen is a very thin device - only a few milimeters thick - held in place by a metal frame within the laptop, and a plastic bezel on the outside. This plastic bezel is held in place by a handful of screws, usually covered by a small piece of plastic or rubber (screw covers). There's also a latch mechanism to be mindful of.
