Now that you've removed the bezel, this is what you should be seeing. Within the outer shell of the laptop is the LCD screen, held in place by a metal framing bracket.

Between the LCD screen and the laptop is the inverter board, which provides power to the LCD screen backlight. With Dell laptops, the inverter board is attached to the LCD in such a way that they must be removed together. Afterward, the inverter may be removed from the LCD device itself.

Also note the Wi-Fi antenna, leading around the perimeter of the LCD screen. Take care from now on to note where the antenna belongs, as getting it back into place later can be tricky.
