4: Remove Bezel Starting from either side of the display assembly, insert your fingers between the LCD screen and the front plastic bezel. The plastic bezel will usually snap off fairly easily. If it does not, work the plastic in different directions until it unsnaps or look closely for overlooked screw covers. Work your way around the top and take care around the latch as it may need to be pressed when unsnapping. Note: Other laptops may require you to begin inserting your fingers at the bottom of the plastic bezel. To unsnap the two bottom corners of the bezel, you will need to use your index finger on the outside of the display assembly as shown in the photo below. |
