5: LCD Tray Once the tapes securing the metal tray are sufficiently loose, carefully pull the tray upward. The tape toward the bottom will likely be stuck to the inverter board, and possibly the back of the LCD. Unstick the tape and open the tray as you would open the laptop itself, being careful not to bend it. |
