You will need:

• Laptop, unplugged and with battery removed
• Small allen wrench or allen screwdriver (generally 1/16" will work, although it can vary)
• Small knife
• Fine-pointed philips screwdriver

 

Preparation:

The following instructions will help you easily remove and replace your laptop LCD screen. The entire process should take approximately 15 minutes and requires merely:

  • Small allen wrench or allen screwdriver (generally 1/16" will work, although it can vary)
  • Small (fine) philips screwdriver
  • Small knife (or other sharp, pointy object)
  • Your laptop

Be sure you have these items, and that you unplug the power supply and battery from the laptop!
